About the event
Celebrate the legacy of America’s first president at our annual George Washington Birthday Luncheon! This year’s program features a special presentation by Dr. Benjamin Franklin of Philadelphia—portraying one of the most remarkable Founding Fathers in history.
Franklin was a true polymath: inventor of the lightning rod and bifocals, pioneer of electricity, diplomat who secured French support during the Revolution, and signer of the Declaration of Independence. Though largely self-taught, Franklin’s scientific brilliance earned him honorary doctorates from prestigious universities, including Oxford and St. Andrews, making “Doctor Franklin” a title of distinction.
Join us for an engaging and enlightening experience as we step back into the 18th century and hear Franklin’s wit, wisdom, and stories of shaping a new nation.
